Zhukiv Island

Night fishing 21.06-22.06. We came out to try and catch some tench in the bay, but no luck. Everything's totally overgrown with weeds and there's nowhere to even cast the feeder. Fished the whole time with a float, using worms and maggots as bait. Rudd was absolutely killing it out there, tons of them. Also got some decent bites on roach with a rod, but they wouldn't touch the spinning rod. Over 2 days of fishing, the only thing that made us happy was 1 crucian carp weighing 740g. Had two really frustrating missed strikes too. One of them the fish was so strong it yanked the rod right out of my hand and got away after bending the hook.
