First successful outing with the new spinning rod. Worked my way along the shore checking out promising spots. Water's clearer than the neighboring Lake Martyshiv. Plenty of small fish and ducks with ducklings around. On the way back around 8 o'clock, got a nice bite from a perch on a Flagman Thunder Max #2 7g spoon. The construction site behind me wasn't too bothersome, stayed quiet till about 7:50.
