Banilivsk Foothill

Banilivsk, BCC Cup. Day one. We picked two spots at 60 and 120m. For the first weigh-in we took 3 fish and got a few line breaks, then silence until evening, and two more bites overnight. Second day we start seriously upping the bait on the spots, regularly throwing in more feed. It starts paying off. We catch 3 more carp, a few crucians and get 4 line breaks in a row. At noon we decide to shift to 80 meters and throw even more bait in the evening on two spots. While feeding we get another bite that played a nasty trick on us. The rig tangled us up with three sticks. Had to recast everything. So we didn't have time to throw all the planned feed, but there was enough on the spots anyway. After the evening weigh-in we take a few more fish in the evening and morning from two distances. Third day we start with 13 caught fish. We keep baiting the spots and take 6 more fish during the day. In the evening we go all-in - prepare a lot of feed. Learning from the previous day's experience, we start feeding at 16:40 and finish by 18:30. Until night we get only one bite. But then we keep throwing boilies. Two of us keep watch until 4 am waiting for fish, but unfortunately no luck. Then at 5:30 we finally get the long-awaited action. By final weigh-in at 12 o'clock we hand in 6 fish. We're sitting fourth in the zone… One more fish would get us to third place, for second we need a 5+ kg fish. The judges leave the sector and we finally get the long-awaited bite - we land a 6kg fish. Quick re-cast and in 10 minutes we hook another one at 4.5 kg. And 10 minutes before the finish we get the third, final bite. And there it is - we take 2nd place in our zone and 6th place overall on the lake. We catch a total of 28 fish weighing 112 kg. That's the second best weight result on the lake. Thanks to the organizers, our neighbors and all the competitors for an amazing tournament, adrenaline rush and unforgettable emotions
