Trophy Calm

Hey everyone - all you fishing folks. So I was out fishing yesterday from about 12:30 to 5 PM. After 2 o'clock the weather really made my day (even though it's winter out there) - the sun came out and actually warmed things up a bit, and the bite was even better, especially since the fish were pretty passive that day. I got lucky guessing what lures these picky fish wanted - though not right away. I think those crazy weather swings had a lot to do with it. Weather jumps around - fishermen cry! 😄 They were taking various spinners and also on jigs. Caught this beautiful pike on one of those, and after that - even a couple of lost fish near the bank, some pretty decent pike, but nothing could ruin the mood. The pike weighed 1.835 kg, released a couple of others, decided to keep this one because it was the first of the day, even though it was the smallest of what I caught then. Amazing water, amazing people running the place, and the main thing - what we go to the water for - FISH. 😁🫡
